Wirral Hospice St John's provides specialist palliative care for the Wirral. It costs up to £7m a year to run the Hospice, which is at no charge to our patients. This is all thanks to the loyal support and commitment of our supporters who do so much to help raise funds for our charity's work.

I'm taking part in this run in memory of my dear friend Sean O'Farrell who lost his fight to cancer in December 2013. Any money raised will be donated to St John's Hospice, Wirral, where Sean enjoyed the care and attention he was given.

I'm doing this run with his wife Tracy and his friend Janice.
