Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After:
I finished the Brighton Marathon in a chip time of 4:38. (My watch says 4:35 but that’s just splitting hairs) I found it really hard again. Delighted to have finished, but obviously wished I had come in just before 4:30.I guess I’ll have to train harder next time. J
Thank you to everyone, family and friends that came down to cheer me and all the others runners on yesterday. It was, as always, a fantastic atmosphere and very special for me to share this amazing experience with my Sister Karen and friend Marie.
Thank you all so much for your incredible sponsorship. It looks like, with the banks matching I will almost reach £1000.Amazing, Thank you, Thank you. I couldn’t do it without you
Before:
Most of you will know this is my third Marathon and I am running as always in memory of our beloved Bernie, who was, and still is my running inspiration.
This year though I am also running in celebration of all my friends and family who have beaten cancer or are still battling it and giving it a really good run for its money!! You all inspire me to raise more and more for St Peter and St James hospice, which is an incredible place.
