Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For me personally I've seen and lost to many valuable family and friends that have been taken way before there time. And even now have close family and friends going through and fighting cancer. Myself I'm coming up to the end of my five yearly checks, I count myself so lucky.
The only way in my mind is to work hard to find a way of beating this desease that is affecting our families and friends, which is why I've chosen to come out of my comfort zone and have a go at actually doing something to help raise funds to beating the cause.
Like most, have just lost my mother in law Beryl who's picture is above, and all though she lived a full and happy life, she still had life to live but was taken early, and for me personally has left a void.
So please if I may ask for your help to raise money for women v cancer so at some point to put a stop to losing people we love early.
I'll be avaraging 50-70 miles a day, peddling hard to earn any money raised.
So please think of my poor bottom.
Thank you all.
Good morning, well after a lovely memorable walk in many ways, I've decided to use Beryls walk as my starting point to my training to getting fit for cycling. Again a MASSIVE Thank you to you all for planning the walk and inviting us,also to be thoughtful in helping to raise funds towards my cycling. Wow an amazing £345, you all have been very kind.
The cakes were delicious to ladies/gents who made them, there didn't seem to many leftovers which means they were mean cakes.
This is me early this morning doing a 5 mile walk, just wanted to share.
Will keep you updated along the way as to how my training is coming along and how sore my bottom is getting.
Really appreciate your help and the time you all have given.
