Sarah was a very popular and much-loved member of staff at St George's Hospital and we have asked the hospital to work with us to ensure that funds raised to her memory will go towards the future of those who need it most. That Sarah's legacy - Sarah's Wish - will live on.

The money raised will go towards Sarah's Wish Fund which will support Cancer Services, patients and their families at St George’s Hospital.

These are some of Sarah's words written shortly before she died:

"As a single parent suffering from triple-negative breast cancer for the past two years, my main concern during my fight with this illness has been focused on my 20-year old daughter and what will happen to her. Who will she live with and who will support her when she needs it most?

My dearest wish is to help kids like her and parents/carers like me to face the future. When I am gone, this initiative will be left as part of my legacy - helping her and others like her, to come to terms with the future.

Fighting cancer can be a very lonely and frightening time and preparing children and young adults for potentially being on their own once you have gone, is very challenging for all."

If for any unforeseen reason we are unable to proceed as
originally intended, your gift will be used to benefit the staff and patients in our hospitals.  This could be purchasing new equipment, staff development and training or funding medical research, all of which will benefit people being cared for in the future.
