Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi there,

Some of you know I sadly lost my mum Lynda over two years ago now.it was a total shock as she was looking the best she had in years. What non of us knew was that she had heart problems. Instead she was diagnosed with c.o.p.d a lung condition and fibamialgur.

Going back a few years now: After I had my son I wanted to get fit so I started running mum was a little unsure at first as I am a Brittal asthmatic , but with advice from my asthma nurse I got there and felt better for it. After my fist run and only jogging/running less than One mile I ended up slumped on the floor outside my mums house she laughed at me ,, are you still running tomorrow Nadia ? Me: you laugh mum but one day I will run the half marathon , mum:let's see if you can get round Central Park first. I did go running the next day then 5 days a wk till I was running laps round the park. My mum said how happy she was to see me. a) sticking to something lol. b) my determination. (also I think the fact I took her dog for a run every morning appealed to her). Then I got tendernitis and she ordered me to stop for a while that was over three years ago. So I'm going to stop putting it off and finally run this half marathon for my mum.

Im over weight after having my second child, haven't ran in over three years and have only two months to train. It is suppose to be a challenge right ? So please donate hopefully we can help fund research so less people lose there loved ones.

Thank you
