Story

We’re a charity that improves the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy through specialist therapy, support and information. We’re ambitious for people with cerebral palsy. For over 25 years our therapists have worked alongside people with cerebral palsy, their families and carers, helping them develop practical skills which transform daily life.Founded by a group of determined parents whose children were unable to get the specialised therapy they needed close to home, we’re the only cerebral palsy charity in Scotland.

Emelia and I are taking part in the Walk ‘n’ Roll challenge to raise money for Cerebral Palsy Scotland as they have provided vital support for my nephew (Emelia’s cousin) Daniel and his family. Daniel has quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and requires support for every aspect of his life. The sessions provided by Cerebral Palsy Scotland have helped Daniel’s position, movement and communication, and have provided crucial support and advice for my sister who is full time carer for Daniel. Cerebral Palsy Scotland have been a key part in their journey and help them to be the fantastic people they are.
