What’s this all about?
Cats!
I’m looking to raise lots of money for Cats Protection by taking part in -
Why are you doing it?
To put it simply, I am widely passionate about the welfare of Animals and Cats in particular, hold a very special place in my heart.
I used to volunteer on a Saturday for my Local Cats protection branch for nearly 6 years and its through the love, work and dedication I have seen from staff and volunteers that has pushed my passion for our feline friends to another level.
Cats Protection has a very simple vision, a vision where every Cat is treated with kindness and a vision where Cats needs are understood. The following objectives help bring that vision to fruition.
Homing - Finding good homes for cats in need
Neutering - Supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats
Information - Improving people’s understanding of cats and their care
When are you doing it?
29th September 2023
What’s the itinerary?
Arrival
You should arrive at the campsite and pitch your tent no later than 6pm, so there is time for you to meet the group and have a challenge briefing over dinner.

Lulworth Cove to Worth Matravers
After an early breakfast we set off by minibus to the starting point of our walk at Lulworth Cove. Highlights today include crossing the Lulworth Range, looking out for ancient fossils, and if we’re lucky, even spotting a dolphin or two! Today’s hike will end at Worth Matravers where a minibus will be waiting to transport us back to the campsite for a well-earned dinner.
Trek distance: Approx. 13 miles
Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner
Worth Matravers to Studland
We transfer back to where we ended yesterday’s walk in Worth Matravers and continue along the coastal path in an easterly direction, passing stunning scenery to Swanage via Durlston Head and Old Harry Rocks before reaching Studland Bay. We transfer back to the campsite to pack up and head home.
Trek distance: Approx. 12 miles
Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch
So, what’s the challenge?
Have you seen the Itinerar?
I am going to need to be fit as a fiddle. This means some training! If you know me on a personal level, then you know I have a strong eversion to exercise!
How Am I going to raise the cash?
Fundraising is hard and takes time, from now until the trip I will be working hard to bring innovative fundraising ideas to life. I will be homing in on my Baking, Art and Craft skills so please watch this space!
I want to thank you for reading this far! It means the world to me that you are looking to support me and the Cats! Any donation, big or small will be a gratefully received.
