This year I am taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise funds for the Y2K youth project. Local youth services are so important to young people. They offer a space where they can spend time in a safe environment and develop important skills, build positive relationships and have fun! I have worked for Y2K for over 10 years and during that time, I have seen the difference youth work can make to the lives of young people. Y2K's services are in need more than ever as a result of  the cost of living crisis and the pandemic. As a charity, funding is vital to ensuring it can continue to be there at the times young people need it most!
