Story

I'm so grateful to the specialist haematology staff at UCLH for seeing me through four inpatient cycles of intensive chemotherapy from diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in August 2018 until completion of chemotherapy in February 2019.  Bone marrow results from August 2019 indicate my disease is currently in remission.  Haematology Cancer Care helps the Haematology Service deliver transformational treatment and personalised care at UCLH.  The senior clinical staff work closely with all haematology teams and haematology patients ensuring donations make a significant impact on the services at UCLH.  The strong community of patients, families and staff are committed to supporting haematology through fundraising activities and events.
