Story
Our friend Jane Wood-Brignall is one an amazing lady. Back in March 2017 she suffered a haemorrhage stroke (bleed to the brain) while on a cruise - luckily she received quick medical care. Jane lost the use of her left side and core, she was unable to sit up. She has shown continued strength grit and sheer determination and has continued to astound us with her recovery. My twin sister Sandra and I will be running Beachy Head Marathon 26 miles of hills and cross county running it will be a tough challenge .....but every day Jane faces her own challenges. From laying in the hospital bed to being in rehab to line dancing and back to one of her favourite hobbies crocheting the progress Jane has achieved has astounded us all. So we are going to borrow some of Janes sheer determination to complete our challenge. We are taking a mini Jane (a knitted Jane in running gear) with us and will be taking photos of Jane at all the check points so that Jane is also completing the Marathon with us .......if you are able to donate however small this will be gratefully received. Please see photos below of how well Jane is doing :)
