New York, November 2008,

To run the Marathon in that great State.

Lynn and Lorraine are going to feel pain,

Are we insane?  A bit soft in the brain?

You can be sure we'll give it our all,

Though it won't be a ball, when we're hitting the wall!

We've had 6 months to get out there and train,

Pulling on those trainers again and again.

Maybe if we drop the gin....

We could even win??!!

Just like Miss Radcliffe,

It's a mighty big IF...!
