At the beginning of this year we celebrated the arrival of our beautiful warrior princess Artemis. She brings us so much joy and happiness every day and we couldn’t of wished for a more loving and cheerful little girl.

As you all know I love running (a lot) and wanted to give something back to the amazing support group we found and love being part of. The East Lancs Down Syndrome Support Group organise meetings for family’s to come together. We have been involved with some fabulous days and look forward to many more to come. The charity is run solely on donations and therefore I am raising money to make sure families like us continue to benefit for their amazing support.

In November I will be running the Athens marathon which has always been my dream to do. This will be marathon number 10 for me and my first one back running, 9months after Artemis arrival. It will definitely be a challenge but is the perfect way for me to celebrate our little Greek goddess and I couldn’t be more excited to be taking part.
