Great Scottish Run 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

We support D/deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind people to live confident, independent lives. The Centre is unique in that our focus is on wellbeing and decreasing social isolation. We do this through groups, classes, outings and meetings which provide fun, education and new friends.

Story

Staff members David Black (cook), Vicki Ferguson (Volunteer co-ordinator) and Lynne Frail (fundraiser co-ordinator), Centre User Jill Hendry and Centre Volunteer Hannah Pickford are taking part in the Great Scottish Run on the 2nd October to raise funds for the Centre.

Forth Valley Sensory Centre is a place where people with a visual or hearing loss, their friends, families, carers and the wider community can access quality services and advice from our partner organisations. The Centre is inclusive, accessible and aims to promote the involvement of the wider community and build positive relationships across Forth Valley.
