Abseil down the Transporter, Middlesbrough · 18 August 2019

CMV Action is a UK organisation of parents and volunteers, who have come together to support families, to raise public awareness of congenital CMV, and campaign for better prevention measures within our health service. We offer advice, support and friendship to anyone affected by congenital CMV, advocating for families and working with a number of medical professionals who have an interest in this field.

Story

As many of you know, I have a strange little obsession for the Transporter Bridge in mighty Middlesbrough.  I have drawn, photographed,  been over and up it so many times.  However, with heights not particularly a love of mine (at all...) it has never crossed my mind to scale down it... until now! So, on 18 August 2019 my crazy friend of mine, Justine, and I are going to abseil down it.

Must be crazy but to make this worthwhile we have decided to try and raise a little money.  I am raising money for CMV, a charity close to my heart and in memory of Baby Edward Bennett.

Any donations would be so gratefully received and don't worry you won't be surprised to hear that I will certainly be posting photos and videos as proof I have seen this through.
