Come along and join me for a fun night and then ........On 19th September 2023 I will be setting off to reach the summit of almighty Mount Toubkal. Towering over the Atlas mountains at 4167m, Toubkal is a true North African challenge. Our team will face plenty of uphills and downhills with long days, and some truly punchy uphill climbs carrying heavy packs.I am taking this challenge to fundraise for the Chiltern Centre. The Chiltern Centre empowers young people with disabilities to live life to the full. They offer the opportunity to do new things, learn new skills, make friends, gain confidence, self-esteem and independence and have fun. At the same time giving the families of these young people the opportunity to take some time for themselves. Supporting a loved one with a disability can be intense and all-consuming. So having that opportunity to take a break can be invaluable. The Chiltern Centre relies on community support to keep its doors open, so this trek will have a huge impact on the lives of these young people. If you can support me so I can help support them by sponsoring my trek I would be so grateful, I promise to spam you with daily progress reports via Instagram, I have barely walked a hill before so it will be quite the challenge but knowing the difference our team can make to so many will keep me going... onwards and upwards and thank you x
