THE CHALLENGE:- Day 1

Lake District 10
peak challenge!

• 22 km trekking
distance

• 1600 m of ascent

• 10 - 12 hrs

• 10 summits

1. Birks 662 m

2. St Sunday Crag
841 m

3. Fairfield 873 m

4. Seat Sandal 736 m

5. Dollywagon Pike
858 m

6. High Crag 884 m

7. Neathermost Pike

8. Helvellyn 949 m

9. Whiteside 863 m

10. Raise 883 m

Day one would be an
early start, the ascent will be upon us quickly but once we are on top of the
first summit, the rest follow in quick succession with ascents and decent of
around 200 m between each one, once we reach our highest point, Helvellyn, we
will have amazing views of Red Tarn below, Swirral and Striding Edges to the
left and right. From Helvellyn we have two summits left to go before our walk
back down the valley to Glenridding for a well earned cold drink or ice cream!

Day two

• 12 km trekking
distance

• 655 m of ascent

• 5 - 6 hrs

• 2 summits

1. Place Fell 657 m

2. High Dodd 501 m

Day two would see
us traversing Place Fell and then walking back to the start point through
woodland and along the shore of Ullswater.
