The March 32 challenge popped up on a social media page and I found myself reading more into breast cancer and the Prevent Breast Cancer Charity.

Although aware of a lot about breast cancer, which is the most common cancer in the UK, the statistic that 32 people die of breast cancer every day in the UK was something I didn't know and this really took me aback. That's 32 people taken from their loved ones every day by this devastating disease.

March is my birthday month and learning about this motivated me to take on this March 32 challenge to try and give something, even if just a little amount, to help towards the prevention of breast cancer. The Charity receives no government funding therefore depends on the generosity of it's supporters. Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer, and they are committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether by focusing on prevention rather than cure.

I go on walks regularly - walking is great for keeping fit, it clears the mind and it's good just to be out in the fresh air - so I want to challenge myself a little bit more. I am aiming to walk at least double the Walk 32 miles throughout March for this great cause and any donations received will be appreciated so much. Every little penny helps.
