Helen & Douglas House helps local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely. We are a home from home for our patients and their families, and provide round-the-clock care in a warm, loving environment.

<h5></h5> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &amp;quot;Cambria&amp;quot;,&amp;quot;serif&amp;quot;;">Ten years ago my younger daughter, Sam, lost a much loved son, and I lost a beautiful little grandson - Harry B.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &amp;quot;Cambria&amp;quot;,&amp;quot;serif&amp;quot;;"> During his battle against a brain tumour and cancer he underwent three major operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, shuttling between the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, Great Ormond Street, Wexham Park, The John Radcliffe and the Churchill Hospital. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &amp;quot;Cambria&amp;quot;,&amp;quot;serif&amp;quot;;">Sadly though Harry B died shortly before his second birthday at Helen House Children's Hospice in Oxford - the UK's first children's hospice which opened in 1982 and is celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year. Some of you may have watched a TV mini-series that the BBC made about the hospice a few years ago. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &amp;quot;Cambria&amp;quot;,&amp;quot;serif&amp;quot;;">In Harry's memory and to raise much needed funds for Helen House, I am doing a tandem sky-dive (jumping from 10.000 feet over Oxfordshire) on the 24th June. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for Helen House so....
