I completed it in 12 hours and 4 minutes, managed 3rd place in my category (a place on the podium and a kiss from the mayor!). It was the hardest thing I've ever done but I'm very pleased to have raised almost £800, thanks everyone for donating, now whats going to be my next challenge?

I'm attempting the impossible to complete Ironman Austria ( 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) in under 13 hours. The training is never ending but I seem to be getting through it steadily.

I decided to raise funds for Jane's Appeal because I was totally in awe of her drive and unceasing fight, also cancer has affected my family and a young boy at school lost his life to the disease.

It's my first long distance event and knowing that I'm raising money for such a worthy cause will help push me through to the finish.
