Lynn’s 2.6 Challenge for VSF · 26 April 2020

The Vital Signs Foundation (VSF) was formed following the tragic and sudden death of Christopher Haw aged 25. Chris was a much loved Son, Brother, Grandson and Friend to many people throughout his local community and across the NW. He died, aged 25 from a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. www.vsf.org.uk

Story

I’m one of the luckiest ladies!  13 years after being diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy; hearing my heart was only functioning at 19%; I never thought I’d still be here let alone being able to enter into this national 2.6 challenge.

My aim is to walk round our 6 acre field 26 times in 26 different outfits! No way could I have run a marathon but I can give this my best shot!

Please support me by donating £2.60, £26 or whatever you can if I am successful.  Every single penny will go to VSF – Vital Signs Foundation which is our Heart Screening charity set up to prevent the risk of young people dying unnecessarily from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.  A minimum 12 young people die of this every week and it is thought the number is many more.  VSF holds free screening events across the north west together with the support of Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in order to save lives.
