I’ve hit the ripe old age of 40 and realised that it’s about time I gave back and raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart.

I can’t run, so a marathon was out of the question! I can’t cycle so that was a no no too! So, I’ve decided that on August 2nd 2019, I will be throwing myself out of a plane from 13,000 feet up in the air!

I’ve decided to raise money for The Bernice Cowen Charitable Trust in memory of my Auntie Bern who I grew up with and was like a second mum to me. Auntie Bern died in January 2011 of cancer and following her death, the charity was set up in her memory and has raised much needed funds for a number of very worthy causes, such as Action Against Cancer, Chai Cancer Care, Variety Club and Noah’s Ark Hospice. The charity has raised over a quarter of a million pounds to date!

Auntie Bern wanted to be remembered so I am jumping in her memory.
