BUPA Great South Run 2005 · 9 October 2005 ·

We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives.

Story

I always say that a Fundraiser should "take part in an event along with her team" so here I am ..... preparing for the Great South Run (10 mile circuit of Portsmouth) on the 9th October 2005.

This is my first running event where I will represent St Dunstan's and I am really enjoying working with my team of voluntary fundraisers (which includes a couple of St Dunstaners) and motivating them all with their fundraising, training.

St Dunstan's work is inspirational in providing independence for blind ex-service men and women who are now blinded through old age, accident or illness. I am truly honoured to represent St Dunstan's and run on behalf of those who were so proud to represent us.

Please show your support for St Dunstan's by sponsorsing me for the Great South Run. Justgiving.com is such a simple, fast and totally secure way to sponsor me and it is also the most efficient way: St Dunstan's will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support. Lynsey. XX
