Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
It's been a few years since we've done this but on Sunday 15th October 8 of us from the Football Club will be putting ourselves through it as we take on Mission Unbreakable 2023. Approx 10km of rough terrain, in potentially cold/wet conditions and rumour has it that the obstacles are tougher than ever before!
Steve Hobbs, Matt Pugsley, Adam Harris, Tommy Mirow, Colin Welch, Ethan Cole, Paul Hopkins and Dan Millington are the silly buggers attempting it this year!
We as a Club are always keen to give back. We have some very good Sponsors that keep our Club going and in turn, we like to do events like this that can help local charities and they don't come much bigger than the Hospice.
We are extremely lucky to have this facility in our area and whilst you hope that you or your nearest and dearest will never need their help and support, it's comforting to know they are there. They were a huge help for my late Dad over 6 years ago and I'm sure many of you will know people who have had to use the Hospice.
To raise money for them is a pleasure - even though Mission Unbreakable probably won't be! - and whilst we may not reach the heights of Max, the boy in the tent, we hope we can raise a bit! A minimum target is £60 each and as there are 8 of us, we are setting our first target at £500. Hopefully, if previous times are anything to go by, we should smash that with your support and generosity.
We are doing this as a team but if you would like to aim your donation for one of us in particular, please just leave a message with their name.
Every £ would be hugely appreciated, so if you could spare a thought for us running around the cold, wet fields around North Molton whilst you're all tucking into your Sunday roast, chuck a quid or 2 our way and it'll be worth it!
Thank you all for your support.
