Story
Back in 2011 I bleached and dyed my dark brown hair, a bold
bright orange.
As I waited for the colour to grow out, watching this clear
line travel down my hair, I first thought about donating my hair to The Little
Princess Foundation.
Taking around six years to fully grow out I soon realised
just how long my hair had grown in the process, so decided before getting it
cut I would try to grow it as long as possible, allowing for optimum length
when the time came.
Fast forward eight years to 2019 and as I am officially able
to sit on the end (I just put this to the test to confirm!) I think the time
has come to start fundraising as my hair now measures approx. 36”/91½ cm!
Each wig can cost up to £500 to be made and for the best
chance of the hair being used it needs to be at least 12”/30cm long.
As this is the case I have set my target to raise at least
£500 and cut 12”/30cm.
Thank you in advance for your support and donation.
