Story
Thanks for visiting our Just Giving page, hopefully you're here to donate!
A merry bunch of us are taking the 3 peaks challenge in order to raise some money for charities. For those of you who aren't aware, this involves conquering this highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales collectively all in the space of 24 hours.
The mountains in question are Snowdon (Wales, 1085m), Scarfell Pike (England, 978m) and Ben Nevis (Scotland, 1345m)
This is all a group organised effort which means no mountain guides to
show us the best routes and other such luxuries. It's also completely self-funded by the team which means that every penny you donate will go to the charity in question.
The charity chosen on this page is Pilgrims Hospices who provide
specialist care to patients and families across East Kent. For Shane, one of our team, this cause in particular is one very close to his heart. Unfortunately Shane's Mum passed away on the 29th of January this year. In his words 'it was the pilgrims hospice in Margate that did a fantastic job of looking after her, managing her pain, making her comfortable and allowing so many of her friends and family to be around right untill the end'. This is a great example of the work that the hospice does.
Their vision for hospice care is that everyone should have access to the services they need to cope with illness that cannot be cured and make the most of the time they have.

We as a team feel that this is a cause worth raising money for and as
such would love it if you could donate. Any amount will do, no matter how small or large.
Thanks very much from everyone on the 3 peaks team!!
