Story
Two things I've always hated;
1 - Running up hills,
2 - Heights.
So when the MS Society asked me to fundraise by racing up the stairs of the 738 feet tall Cheesegrater building, and then abseiling back down the outside, I obviously jumped at the opportunity!
Due to various injuries, and general lethargy, I haven't done much running since my last fundraising effort for the MS Society, running the London Marathon in 2021. So it is great to be able to push myself again and raise funds and awareness for this fantastic charity.
To help raise my fitness levels for this event I'm also going to train for the Robin Hood Half Marathon, which takes place two weeks after the Skyscraper Challenge. But before I start training I have to complete a Couch to 5k running program as part of my physio treatment plan for a recently torn hamstring.
