I will be taking part in the Peak District Mighty Hike in memory of my late brother, Brian, who sadly passed away in November 2021 after a relatively short battle with cancer. My nieces Kay & Carolyn, along with my nephew Steve took part in last year's event and raised a considerable amount towards Macmillan Cancer Support, they are also taking part this year and I decided it is something I would like to do as Brian and my sister in law Jan received the very best of care from the Macmillan people who deserve all the financial help they can possibly get.  So, although I realise these are difficult times I hope you will be able to help me support Macmillan by making a donation on my behalf. I've never walked 30 miles in one day before but I believe I will be able to complete the challenge because it means so much to me.  Like all members of my family I miss Brian very much, he was my older brother by just 4 years, so he was a big influence during my formative years, we remained close throughout our lives and I so wish he was still around.
