Story
For those of you who know me, you will be aware that I'm not great with heights
This event is a true unique opportunity to get a panoramic view as I face my fears and prepare to abseil almost 100ft down the side of one of the UKs largest hospitals!
Nottingham Univeristy Hospital fund the Zephyrs Centre, which provides support for those who have experienced the loss of a baby or child.
Zephyr’s centre provides nurturing support for bereaved families following the loss of a pregnancy, baby or child. Each year they provide a lifeline and support to over 1,000 bereaved parents and families.
Zephyr’s itself has been developed within the grounds of Nottingham City Hospital in a homely, bespoke unit sitting apart from the busy activity of the main hospital areas. It provides not just services and support but a truly peaceful and welcoming environment.
