St Nicholas Hospice Care is a local charity based in West Suffolk and Thetford, serving our community since 1984. As a charity, we believe everyone matters in life and death, and we strive for something better for those facing dying, death and grief.

Story

Yes it's happening. The sporting event of the century, when I intend to undertake an event of incredible athletic prowess and haul my 13 and a half stones of pure British lard around a *gruelling 6k - or is it 6 miles? - course to raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice.

Joining me, will be 20 of my fellow ladies from the Bury St Edmnds branch of Gymophobics .. well, OK, it's probably more of a case that I'm joining them.

To make things more challenging all of us will be completing this arduous course in our pyjamas, in the dark, while skillfully wearing a set of flashing bunny ears on our heads.

Will this lardette stay the course? If I do will I have the energy (not to mention time) left to stagger to the pub to celebrate my incredible achievement? If I do will more ligament damage result? These and many other questions will only be answered on the night.

In the mean time, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! Sponsoring me is not obligatory but if you want to it would be peachy.

Cheers

MTM

* OK, it's not that gruelling but it will be a bit gruelling because I have less knee ligaments than normal people.
