Commencing with the the name of Allah the most Merciful & compassionate and by sending salutations on the best of Mankind ﷺ I establish this fundraiser.

Myself and seven others are going to be climbing Scafell Pike to its peak (978m) in order to raise money for the Muslim brothers and sisters suffering daily in Yemen.

In the Qur’an the ayat “بَلْدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٌ” is mentioned... Allah refers to Yemen as a blessed and good land that has a Forgiving Lord (34:15)

 ‏ "‏ أَتَاكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ هُمْ أَضْعَفُ قُلُوبًا وَأَرَقُّ أَفْئِدَةً الإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ" ‏...The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The people of Yemen have come to you. They are weaker in heart and softer in understanding, faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni." Grade: Hasan - English reference: Vol1, Book 46, Hadith 3935

When we are asked regarding what we did when our brothers and sisters in Yemen came to us in their time of need, what will we say? They are people who have been praised in the Qur’an and many Ahadith! Don’t ignore their plea for help. Donating even £1 will weigh heavy on the scales on the Day of Judgement.

Amidst a political deadly conflict that has been ongoing for many years, Millions have been left to suffer inhumanely as a consequence. Children, women and men of Yemen are facing extreme circumtances. Kids are dying from famine & disease. They are being mauled due to the conflict occurring. Destroyed schools, infrastructure, homes and hospitals are leading to more deaths. Yemen is literally gradually becoming on the verge of extinction!

Humanitarian Crisis - >24 million people in need of aid. UNICEF have declared it to be the largest crisis.
Coronavirus - No basic necessities. Hospitals are not equipped
Cholera outbreak - Ongoing since 2016, worsening due to air strikes on water systems and infrastructure
Famine - Said to be worst one in 100 years due to poverty and oppression
Civil War/War - Oppression from internal groups and other countries have destroyed the beauty of Yemen. Schools, homes, water systems and infrastructure.
Floods - Yemen experiencing floods have destroyed homes and food supply
How your donation will contribute?
Muslim hands team members are on the ground using local knowledge to give to those most in need.
Funds help towards food, water, essential needs, water wells, medical care and other basic necessities to those who need it.
Projects are always closely monitored to optimise the relief being provided.
We can only imagine what the people of Yemen are experiencing. 

 Yemen is literally on the verge of extinction.
