Story
I'm fundraising to support Chickenshed - a charity that uses the performing arts as a vehicle to champion difference and demonstrate the strengths of a more inclusive world.
From a young age I have been partially sighted, and until the age of twelve I had to have surgeries in London, flying from Israel. Now that I live here I'm doing my BTEC and hope to do the foundation degree and BA and then become a teacher.
Chickenshed helps me because we all work together and helps me to be a better person - we are all each others responsibility. People walk with me when it is dark, for example during standbys and getting on and off the stage. It is a really good community and everyone is welcome - inclusivity is very important.
