I am Matthew , an Open Water endurance swimmer . I’m August 2023 I will be swimming my first ever marathon swim. I am swimming the 11 mile one way length of Lake Windermere , in an attempt to set the world record for the youngest Windermere Swim. I am fundraising for the RNLI as they are the individuals prepared to save lives in all weather 24/7/365. As an open water swimmer i know how important it is to stay safe in the water , unfortunately sometimes people get into trouble in the water , the RNLI are the ones prepared to save those lives and risk theirs in the process.
