Asalaamu Alaikum, hello and welcome to my very first JustGiving page! Woohoo🎉🎉

Seen as you’ve taken your precious time out to view my page, I’d like for you to use this moment to check out why I’ve set up it up please and also to think about paying it forward. I’m sure you know that when we help others, Allah ta’ala helps us! It’s a win win situation folks! 🥳🥳🥳

So, what’s happening exactly? I hear you ask, well people, I am taking on Stanage Edge! Stanage Edge is an impressive landmark, sitting proud within the undulating landscape of the Peak District National Park. The Edge rises 458 metres above the moorland below and stretches more than 4 miles (6 kilometres) along its top. Yes, that’s right, I’ll be climbing that😅😅😅

Errr…..Why?? I hear you (and myself) asking!! 😳😳🧐🧐🧐😅😅 Well, for a cause close to my heart, to empower vulnerable women!!! This includes widows with children, as they are a marginalised segment of society. They have little access to community resources and skills development centres to help them build up their products & skills to stand on their own feet.

Without the means to buy tools, seeds, crops, purchase animals and invest in business, there is little way out of poverty for these vulnerable women.

Islamic Relief offers environmentally-friendly, sustainable solutions to poverty. They don’t believe in relying on hand-to-mouth support. They strive to protect the dignity, independence and future of everyone they meet.

By providing a range of critical support including, cash grants, interest-free loan schemes, education, training and tools, Islamic Relief is not only transforming futures; they’re saving lives.

I want us to help women to be independent business women just like Khadeeja (RA) instead of them living in poverty or being forced into marriage at a young age just so that they have a roof over their heads. 

So, how do we do this?? Well, I’m not going to lie, 🤔 seen as I’ll be doing ALL the hard work with all that climbing and everything 😩😩🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️!! All you have to do is tap a few buttons and click donate! Now I know you can manage that 😜😜😜👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Remember, Allah ta’ala says,

“Who will lend Allah a good loan so that He can increase it many times?” (Qur’an, 2:245) 

Let’s help our sisters around the globe 🌎 build their businesses whilst we also build our eternal homes in jannah. 

Now I know I’m not climbing that peak for a mere £150 (original) target, thus once we’ve smashed that with your help, I aim to increase the target! I pray Allah ta’ala rewards us for our effort and grants us ease in this world and in the next. Ameen 🤲🏼🤲🏼👊🏼👊🏼💪🏼💪🏼
