My Dear Mum Mabel Adie passed away on 11 December.  She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her family and friends.  She is now reunited with Dad and they will be able to carry on their dancing days once more.

When Mum and Dad were first “courting” in the early 50s they didn’t have much money.  They spent many a happy hour having a cup of tea together in the Salvation Army Hall.  They were always assured of a warm welcome and it is something that they were always grateful for.  They both remembered this throughout their lives and the Salvation Army always had a special place in their hearts.  Mum would very much want all monies donated in her memory to go to help with this very special cause and to recognise the kindness that was shown to her and Dad in the early years of their relationship.
