We are running a half marathon to raise money for our Dad that has early stages of Alzheimer's as well as money for the local sport ground which dad enjoys playing Boules on.

I’m not a natural runner and to date never run much further than a 10k. My sister only started running 6 months ago and Nick will be carrying us over the line. The important thing to us is why! Dad, like so many others, has the early signs of this cruel condition and we would love to raise awareness and support for this charity along with the rec ground in Wales he attends frequently. 

I appreciate in the current economic climate things are tough, but please spare what you can.
