Story

Thank you for visiting my justgiving page.

My name is Mackenzie Butler, I am 15 years old and i have the great honour of being junior golf captain of Redditch Golf Club for the coming year.

As part of my captaincy I have decided to support the Royal British Legion as my chosen charity. It is a poignant year commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the end of WW1.

I and three friends are undertaking a 72 holf golf challenge to raise funds, it will be taking place on the 1st of June 2018 at Redditch Golf Club.

I have a personal reason for choosing this worthwile charity as I have visited the war graves in Ypres and laid a poppy wreath on the grave of a fallen relative who gave his life in WW1 serving his country. I am aware of the wonderful work the charity does to support memebers and veterans of the British Armed Forces and their families and dependants.

I would like to raise £1000 to donate to this charity at the end of my captaincy and would welcome any donations.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page and hopefully donate.
