My name is Matthew Mackintosh and I am Head of Block Management and Director at AM Surveying & Block Management, I manage blocks of flats for a living and certainly I have never ever shaved my head, I have never had to! But who cares right? True.

COVID19 has hit us all hard and has caused tremendous disruption around the world on a scale we have never seen before and my heart goes out to all whom have been negatively impacted by this deadly virus.

Perhaps one of the more mundane (and admittedly trivial) disruptions resulting by the events of COVID19 is the outlawing of haircuts, or at-least decent haircuts (unless of-course you happen to have a skilled hairdresser in your household, sadly... I don't).

Like many gents in the current period of lockdown I have not been able to visit a barber in far too long and eventually I decided enough's enough, I needed a haircut!

On 11th May 2020 with a certain amount of fear and trepidation (but certainly with the desire to "do my bit!") I am pleased to say with the nervous help of my wife Paris and with our never-used clippers set to a grade 1, I completed my challenge. With that, my head is the latest victim to #BravetheShave!

I would be hugely delighted to reach my target in the near future, thank you so much for your support and donations to help me achieve this!

Stay safe, stay alert and let's beat this virus in the process and hopefully we can all visit our regular hairdressers in the nearest future! Or, perhaps you can #BravetheShave yourself?
