Thank you 🙏 for visiting my just giving page, but WHY am I fund raising?

I am raising money for a cause close to my heart and to most of us - fighting cancer. One in four of us will be affected by cancer and we recently lost one of our lifelong family friends Joy Knott way too early to this disease.

Joy brought ‘Joy’ to all she met, she embodied kindness and compassion and truly made our world a better place.

I’ve chosen to support Macmillian Cancer Support - they do transformation work, providing lifeline services for people living with cancer at every stage of their journey - emotional, practical, physical, and financial support.

My target is £400 and you can help us reach that by donating whatever you can here.

WHAT and WHEN is the race event you are sponsoring me to complete?

On Saturday 26 October 2024, I will take part in a 8km running race at the N.E.C. Birmingham called HYROX. Between each of the 8 x 1km runs, I will complete an exercise, these being a 1000m ski, 1000m row, 50m sled push, 50 sled pull, 80m of burpees, a 200m kettlebell carry, as well as 100m carry with a sandbag.
