The 50/50 Challenge: 50 miles for 50 lives · 1 November 2021

The wïsh centre is a London based charity that prevents self harm, abuse and exploitation of young people. We provide open ended therapy and counselling in schools and at our Centre, plus peer support groups, out of hours help, advice and training. We offer a free service for young people aged 10-25

Story

The WISH Centre is a local London based charity that supports children and teenagers ages 10-25 who have experienced domestic or sexual violence, child sexual exploitation, abuse or neglect including those who are self harming or suicidal. This is through a mix of therapy, peer support groups, outreach programmes, advocacy, safeguarding and out of hours crisis help.

The work of WISH's small but dedicated team of psychotherapists and youth workers is vital to ensure that young people are supported and empowered. Together they are making a real difference to young peoples futures and CBRE are striving to raise awareness and support WISH in their mission.

The 50/50: 50 miles for 50 lives

The challenge is to individually run, walk, cycle or swim 50 miles over a month to save or change 50 young lives. The 50/50 challenge reflects the nature of the work that WISH do, a mix of individual work and group effort. And, of course, the link between mental health and physical wellbeing is well understood.

The CBRE MACW business unit is thrilled to be working with WISH for such a worthwhile cause and encourage you to support us and give generously, thank you!
