This is my second time of doing this, the first year I did 5k, which was fun, so this year I decided to double it and enter the 10k.

There are a few reasons why I am doing this, firstly in support of Maddi's butterflies which is  also supported my work place,. Then in memory of Bill a good friend of mine, who sadly lost his fight to cancer in April this year. Also for a friend, Tracey whose brave little boy Jack is in treatment at the moment, 'keep smiling Jack' Lastly to all those around me whether family or friends who have either won and got through cancer or to those who have sadly lost. One day we will beat cancer, so the more we make people aware and raise money, the sooner we can find a cure.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
