The Heal Project is a wonderful charity raising funds for a school for the poorest of the poor in Lusaka, Zambia. The children get taught how to read and write and they get a proper meal every day. Many Zambian children do not get the chance to go to school as their parents cannot even afford a pair of shoes.

The Heal Project also supports an orphanage where 30 children whose parents have died of aids, or who have HIV themselves live. The idea is that the children are brought up educated and able to support themselves, possibly even becoming doctors or teachers. There is a vegetable garden where the vegetables are either sold or eaten and the girls are being taught how to sew and cook. Every day there are power cuts and the home is in need of solar panels so that the day doesn't come to a stop everytime there is a power cut. The children need to have clothes and food. Nothing is cheap in Zambia

It costs £3,000 per month to run the school and orphanage and they need our help.
