Macc Attack 505050 10K challenge · 29 June 2014

East Cheshire Hospice provides essential care, support and compassion to local adults facing life limiting illnesses. We rely on fundraising to pay for over 80% of our daily costs, and so you can be sure your support will make a huge difference to our patients, their families and loved ones.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

On Sunday, 29th June Tracey Firth and Maddie Copp will be taking part in the above event in aid of East Cheshire Hospice. We have been asked to set up a Just Giving page to enable those who prefer to donate online to do so.

Working in teams we will tackle a 10K run over a flat route, with obstacles/challenges including island hopping, bridge building, tied up, ferry boating, all tyred out and feeling ropey.

This is our first ever challenge of this sort. Neither of us are runners, and we will be going at our own pace, which will probably be slow!

We appreciate that people receive a lot of requests for sponsorship for various charities and causes, but if anyone would like to sponsor us any amount, whatever you are able,  it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you to those who have already sponsored us via the paper sponsorship forms.

Whether you are able to sponsor us or not, we would appreciate your good wishes for Sunday.

Thank you!

Maddie Copp and Tracey Firth
