I'm raising money for a brilliant charity called Red Balloon which supports children who are too frightened to go to school because of bullying, mental health problems and/or other trauma in their lives. I was particularly struck by Daniels's story on Red Balloons website. He was so badly bullied at his secondary school that he suffered post-traumatic stress disorder and spent a year in a psychiatric hospital. Luckily, his mother found Red Balloon and Daniel went on to thrive and is now at university.
