Story

Hello!

If you have clicked on this page, can we start off by saying thank you - no matter what the donation amount. Thank you big time.

Graeme Williamson and Mark Armstrong are two fellas who work at the Head Office of ENABLE Scotland. One day at the start of the year we managed to talk ourselves into this fantastic fundraising opportunity (not sure how....). And here is why - We not only work for ENBLE Scotland, but have a passion to change the lives of people with Learning Difficulties. To do that we need money. Often to get money we need to graft. This is our graft!

Neither of us are bike guys. Neither of us are those fellas you see zooming by, bullet shaped, dressed in Lycra, heads down and powerful. However, we are focused and determined to 'keep up with the pack' and work hard for your donations while sweating our socks off in the African heat.

We've committed to cycling a colossal 450km in just one week – through Madagascar, the world's 4th largest island, located off the East coast of Africa in aid of ENABLE Scotland. Our challenge will start in the manic streets of the capital city of Antananarivo and then we’ll be travelling down dirt and stone roads mired with thick mud to the coastal town of Mahavelona. From there we’ll cycle on narrow, treacherous trails through highland villages, paddy fields and tropical fruit plantations in the searing African heat. This will be a hugely demanding physical challenge and any support you can offer will be most appreciated.

We have various fundraising activities to help in this cause and we have this justgiving page. If you can't attend them it would be just awesome to throw some money at this page. Every little helps.

If you would like to know more about ENABLE Scotland or indeed the two fellas who have signed up to this mammoth task, please get in touch.

Again, we thank you.
