Ar 7fed o Hydref  mi fydd criw ohonom yn cael ein tywys gan Andy Collins o Madog Pop Up Fitness(MPUF) i gerdded llwybr yr arfordir o Borthmadog i Aberdaron mewn 24 awr. Mae’r daith tua 45 milltir neu 72km felly fydd yn dipyn o her! 

Mae’r arian nawdd yn mynd i’r achos lleol bendigedig - Gafael Llaw, sydd yn agos iawn i galonnau rhai o aelodau ein grwp MPUF.  Mae’n fwriad gennym i gasglu arian at achos sydd wedi  gwneud gwahaniaeth i deuluoedd lleol. 

Mae’r holl arian sy’n cael ei godi gan Gafael Llaw yn mynd tuag at wella cyfleusterau a gwasanaethau ar gyfer plant efo cancr.

Mae’r elusen yn cefnogi ward Dewi yn Ysbyty Gwynedd, ac eisoes wedi gwneud cyfraniad ariannol sylweddol i uwchraddio ciwbiclau ar y ward a gwella cyfleusterau fel y maes chwarae ac ystafelloedd asesu.

Yn ychwanegol i hyn, mae ymrwymiad gan yr elusen i gefnogi Alder Hey yn Lerpwl. Bydd 2 ciwbiclau yn yr ysbyty newydd yn cael eu noddi gan Gafael Llaw, a bydd hyn yn golygu adnoddau o’r radd flaenaf i blant Gwynedd a Môn fydd yn aros yn yr ysbyty. Bydd pob ymdrech hefyd yn cael ei wneud gan yr elusen i sicrhau bod gwasanaeth ac adnoddau Cymraeg ar gael i’r plant.

On the 7th of October a group of us will be escorted by Andy Collins from Madog Pop Up Fitness (MPUF) to walk the coastal path from Porthmadog to Aberdaron in 24 hours. The journey is around 45 miles or 72km so it will be quite a
challenge!

The sponsorship money goes to a wonderful local charity - Gafael Llaw, which is very close to the hearts of some of the members of our MPUF group. Our intention is to raise money for a cause that has made a difference to local families.

All the money raised by Gafael Llaw goes directly towards improving the facilities and services for children with cancer.

The Charity provides direct support for Dewi Ward in Ysbyty Gwynedd, with significant contributions already made to upgrade cubicles on the ward, as well as general facilities such as the outside play area and assessment rooms.

There is also commitment from the
Charity to support Alder Hey in Liverpool. Two new cubicles in the new Alder Hey hospital will be sponsored by Gafael Llaw, meaning that high quality facilities and services will be available for those children from the Gwynedd and Anglesey area staying in the new hospital. Every effort will be made by the Charity to ensure that local children can access services and materials in the Welsh language.
