Mambo!  from Maggie, Babs and Neil.  We've joined together to help transform the lives of children and their families in Mikindani. 

 It's not just my page now - it's OUR page. There's an African proverb which says:  “If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far,  go together”. 

We're  not climbing Kilimanjaro.  We're not asking for sponsorship to traverse the African plains. ( Are those sighs of relief...) We are asking for the price of a glass of wine - or a bottle, if you're feeling generous - to put electricity, water, blackboards and books into a school which does incredible work with.....nothing.  Nothing at all.  Except hope.  Thanks. 

OUR STORY.........

Babs and Neil are out there working with the local community in Mikindani and hoping to fix more than the roof of their local school while the sun shines. Maggie visited recently and recruited herself to help the cause.
