In memory of our mum Joan (Hannah) Duffin. 

RIP   19/08/1942   -  16/01/2021

On the morning of Saturday, January 16, we lost "our mum"  Joan Duffin She was an amazing mum to 5 children, nanny to 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. We are all going to miss her so much. She was the centre of our whole family. 

This dedicated page has been set up by myself, my sisters, Nikki & Denise and brothers Richard & John and will act as a Book of Condolence for her family and friends. We are very sad that we cannot have the big Irish funeral she deserved with her family and friends.

Mum had a big fall and severely injured her chest and back . She had a short stay in the BRI hospital and subsequently passed away from her injuries. The staff at the BRI were truly amazing and they made sure she was comfortable and pain free during her short time in the hospital.

We are all going to miss her so much. Your kind words and thoughts are truly appreciated by the family and give us comfort RIP mum. 

In lieu of the family receiving flowers, we would like to ask for donations to the "Above & Beyond" charity. We have asked that the donations go directly to the Thoracics ward at the BRI. The staff on this ward were amazing to mum in her last few days. These donations will go towards supporting patients and visitors, whilst recognising the fantastic work these unsung heroes perform every day.
