Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Our wonderful mum sadly and quite suddenly passed away on Friday 9th October. She had suffered from Parkinson’s disease for 15 years, and fought a brave battle against the relentless pain and discomfort of this cruel disease. She never once complained, and will remembered forever by all who knew her for her courage, her kindness, her sense of fun and for always putting others before herself. She will be missed so much by family and friends alike and has left a huge, irreparable hole in our lives, especially of our amazing Dad who has been on so many adventures with her, and cared for her through difficult times with such love and devotion.

Mum always saw the best in everything, and her positive attitude touched the hearts of all who knew her. With this is mind, we feel she would want us to take the opportunity to help others affected by Parkinson’s disease.

So, in her memory, we would like to invite donations to Parkinson’s UK, who support the search for a cure and aim to improve the lives of everyone affected by the disease.
