Story
Dig deep good people and donate directy to the walk the walk campaign.
Our family, sadly like many others, were catapulted from an every day normal life into the dark and uncertain world of cancer :( we did a 5 year journey through terminal breast cancer and yes there were some long nights and some very very difficult days, absolute hearbreak and devestation BUT there was also lots of laughter, an unspoken appreciation for the unwanted knowledge that our time together as a family was limited, a pleasure taken from some of the most simple things that usually people are too busy to notice .... we didnt swim with dolphins or go to vagas we made a fuss at birthdays, easter, christmas, summer days were full of carry on in the garden with the children winter nights with hot dinners and playing operation and scabby queen making memories of just being together
The sad truth is all the money in the world may never cure cancer, but people are getting a better quality of life for longer the research and the facilities that all of your donations to charity events in support of cancer projects go to make a real difference. It means that quite simply while i wish every day that my mum was still here, i can look back on the time we did have with a smile :)
