Thankfully the majority of us can only imagine what it is like to sleep rough in all conditions - wind, snow, rain etc.  Not feeling safe, not feeling like we belong or loved.

Unison Branch Members, Staff, Madam Mayor and Deputy Mayor are will be joining in with the YMCA Sleep Easy 2022 event in which we will be sleeping rough in Reigate Town Hall carpark on Friday March 11th.  No tents, no nice bed to curl up in, just the concrete and cardboard boxes.   

This small hardship is to raise awareness and funds for the amazing work the YMCA do with the homeless and is such a worthwhile cause.   The last time i did it I slept on the concrete with a plastic tablecloth round me in the rain .... not a great night!

Please support us if you can, spare a thought for us that night and remember we should never judge another unless we have walked in their shoes.  Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated x
